At home, kind-hearted dreamer Indigo is the one who holds the Casson family together, cooking meals and remembering to check up on the youngest, Rose. At school, things aren’t so simple. David, the horrid school bully, is making his life miserable… until a new boy, Tom, steps off a plane from America. Guitar-playing joker Tom is breezy, bold, easy-going and brave. He doesn’t care what anyone says about him, least of all the bullies. Soon Tom and Indigo are best friends and comrades in arms… and fierce little Rose adores Tom too. But the breath of fresh air that Tom breathes into Indigo’s life is about to have totally unexpected consequences…
