The Sandman and the Turtles

Every summer, Michael goes to stay with his cousins at their farm on the Welsh coast. And every year, he swims with seals, watches killer whales and porpoises – and listens to his old grandfather’s stories. Tales of blood-red dragons that sleep in hidden coves on Whaletooth Beach, of shipwrecks and an old Russian sea captain, and of the giant Sandman and his turtles, who fell asleep and turned to rocks out in the bay. Michael doesn’t really believe that the stories are true. But when the Sandman comes to life, Michael and his cousins are in for a truly magical adventure…
