I really enjoyed this book. I thought it was a well written story, typical for Roald Dahl. My favourite characetr was the girl with the magic finger. I wish I had this power. It had a good strong ending I would definately recomend this book. I think this book would be suited for 7-10 year olds because of the style of writing. But saying that, my mum still likes it and she is 35.

I like this book becuase it was funny.My favorit bit was when mrgreg got terd in a duck.The funny bit was when the greg family chaerd the name to the egg family.

I loved the way this book is full of imagination! Also the happy ending was GREAT! Roald Dahl makes something sound so terrible like the hunting!

i thoght this was brilliant i love the way roald makes it sound terrible about hurting things and that you will get in big trouble if you do it just because they are smaller than you and i found this brilliant as the characters in the book got there seeing to which was funny when it happend.
i would give it 5 stars
