Rent a Bridesmaid

Ooh! Softer and fluffier than a marshmallow whip. Tilly dreams of being a bridesmaid. But why just dream when you can get paid? Tilly can’t believe it when her best friend Matty gets to be a bridesmaid. It’s sooo unfair. In Tilly’s favourite daydream, she’s kitted out in a perfect bridesmaid’s dress, walking down the aisle behind a beautiful bride. In her best ever daydream, it’s her mum and dad getting married! But that’s not going to happen. So it’s time for Tilly to make her dreams come true, and put her bridesmaid skills up for hire…

Rent a Bridesmaid is another touching story written by bestselling author Jacqueline Wilson. It’s all about little 9 year old Tilly (Matilda Andrews) who wants nothing more than her mum and dad to get back together and to be a bridesmaid! So Tilly and her best friend Matty (Matilda Davies) advertise her bridesmaid services in the local newsagents when Matty gave Tilly her bridesmaid dress – and gets replies!!! Tilly starts doing weddings as a regular thing and enjoys each and every single one! The only problem is this results in her imagining what her mum and dad wedding could be like even more! This book is a fab read and another great addition to the JW collection! I’d recommend this book 9+ and 4/5 stars!! :-)
