The Day The Banana Went Bad

Silly laughs in the supermarket! This banana may be bruised, but he’s proud of who he is, and he’s defending all the wonky fruit and veg! When a slightly battered banana is tossed into the reject bin, he feels very cross indeed. Like all the other squashed fruit and veg, he may be a little bit bruised, but that doesn’t make him any less brilliant! So he rallies the other rejects: a sour satsuma, some unripe plums, mushy pears, odd oranges and more. Are they doomed to spend their lives in the reject bin – or can these rebels escape from the store?

  • A cheeky rhyme by the author of Ten Fat Sausages
  • Supertato fans will love this riotous supermarket tale
  • All about loving yourself and celebrating difference
  • Explores important themes in a witty feelgood story
