I really enjoyed reading this book as well as being really funny this book is really touching. This book can relate to me well because I moved house and I had to leave my friends, school and old house behind but I still get to see my friend a lot. The character Gemma is really funny in this book and makes this book full of events and highs and lows. Jacqueline Wilson can really feel a child’s feelings.

It’s about 2 best friends, Gemma and Alice who get split up. But in the end, it’s happy. But you’ll have to read it to find out how!

This is a good book about 2 friends who are pulled apart when one moves away. It is also has lots of subplots one of them being about a boy who wants to be a cook but is worried about what his friends might think. Great read ages 8+
