This is a great book for people of all ages to read. It grips you throughout but also has an emotional side. Highly recommended. Anyone can enjoy this book

This was a great book from Micheal Morpurgo. I read it as a class so went slower. But loved the book so much, I decided to buy the book. Have read again and still amazed as it is based on a true story. The pictures, few of them, are brilliant. They really help you imagine the story. On the front cover of the book I have, it says the book won the best children’s book award. Well worth it in my opinion. A gripping read that most would enjoy.

When Michael dirfts onto a remote island in the middle of the ocean, with his dog: Stella Artois, he feels dread and worry. He expects to be trapped on the island with no food or hope, but someone is helping him and watching him. This book will make you drift away from reality.

I love michael morpurgo, he is an amazing author and although this book isn’t one of my favourites by him, it is still an amazing book.
