I loved Born to Run as it features alot of greyhounds. This is a very emotional story, as the main character which was a greyhound (who had many names throughout the story, so for this review I am just going to call him Greyhound) goes through alot, one minute he is in a box in a canal, then at home with his rescuer, then racing as a racing greyhound and then with an old food truck owner- wherever Greyhound is he manages to survive! The whole book is rounded up really well as Greyhound is reunited with his rescuer, but does he recognise him? Michael Morpurgo is a truly awesome writer! I rate this book 9/10, a moving, emotional story.

It was great reading from the point of view of Best Mate/ Brighteyes/ Paddywack, they were humanish, but made you feel so sorry for him, being passed on from owner to owner! * * * * *
