   loved it

   The Farmyard Tales books are perfect to read to children: short simple stories, lots of repetition and a little yellow duck to find on every page (“Quack quack hiding!” in our house). Then when they’re starting to read for themselves the dual text makes these ideal beginner readers. Great and funny illustrations, and the farmer is a woman – what more could you want!
