The Magic Thief

In a city that runs on a dwindling supply of magic, a boy is drawn into a life of wizardry and adventure…

Conn should have dropped dead the day he picked Nevery’s pocket, and touched the wizard’s deadly locus stone. But somehow he survived, and Nevery chose to take him on as an apprentice. Working with his new master, Conn becomes engaged in the quest to save the city, whose magic is slowly dying. But how did the magic thief survive? Why is he immune to the Twilight? What appalling secret does he hide? The first in a compelling and suspenseful fantasy trilogy which includes an online game to play.

“A stunning debut from new author Sarah Prineas … The novel is spellbinding in plot, characters, location and dialogue … a wonderful book which I recommend unreservedly” Bookbag
