  7. loved it

Love, Aubrey is a heart-felt, sweet and serious book about a girl (Aubrey) who thinks she has no hope left in the world. Her Mum’s just disappeared and her Dad and sister Savannah – well, I won’t give that away! She’s determined, though, to take care of herself. But when her loving Grandmother appears with a helping hand, Aubrey learns that although she’s lost everything, all is not lost…I loved this book, I especially reccommend it to someone aged 9-14…I felt I could really connect with Aubrey’s feelings. It’s heart-breaking and had tears freely running down my face. It makes you really realise that these things do happen occasionally. You should be grateful for what you have in terms of family…:)

Aubrey makes us grateful for what we have. Suzanne La Fleur creates an emotional atmosphere and gives us the courage we need. It has a brilliant storyline and the character fits beautifully into it.
