This book is amazing!! I love the bronte sisters and this was my first book of theirs I read, I’ve only read 2, Jane eyre and wuthering heights, but I think this was the best out of the two. You can see that Charlotte bronte put a lot of passion and love into this book and you can defiantly feel it when reading, this makes the book more dramatic and exciting. It leaves you at the end of your seat nearly every page and it makes you want to read on and find out what happens to the characters and see if there is a happy ending! I would defiantly recommend this book to older readers as their is quite a lot of hard language but if someone was up to the challenge I would defiantly tell them to read it!! Xx

If you really want to try a classic I would start with Jane Eyre (rather than a Jane Austen which is a lot slower starting) This can be a bit slow I times but after reading the whole thing I enjoyed it so much more than I had thought. Give this book a go- you might end up really liking it.

This is an incredible book in every way. It’s fascinating and impossible to put down. It’s sad at parts, but the happy ending makes everything alright. Really recommend!

You can not call yourself a reader or bookworm until you have read this book. It is an iconic piece of literature and despite it’s age is still ready widely today. I read this book while on holiday and I never put it down from the moment i boarded the plane till i arrived back in the UK. It is fabulous, it also will greatly improve your reading vocabulary. The story at the time was quirky and unusual but it modernized reading and most romance or love stories follow a similar story line as the one in Jane Eyre. It starts off with Jane (our heroine) in her childhood as you will find out it is not very pleasent. We then skip to when she’s older and is a governess, she gets a new job at a huge mansion, where she has just one pupil and the master of the house (who is not married) is never in. She is there for many months before she finally meets Mr Rochester the master of the house. It is a curious relationship and you don’t realize they are in love. Then Jane leaves suddenly ( there is a reason of course but you will just have to read it to find out) and doesn’t see Mr Rochester again … This is a great book and it depends on your reading capabilities but i would recommend for ages 13+

Jane Eyre is one of those classics you just can’t put down. It has wonderful vocabulary, excellent description and an exciting storyline. I have read it twice now and I will probably read it again! My favourite character is Mr Rochester, as you can see how his personality changes throughout the book. My favourite part is the ending: but I won’t spoil it for you!
