This book is very funny with relatable characters and good plots twists. The only problem is the lack of explanation as to why Tallulah is there.

The cover is…..how would the students at Dother Hall Performing Arts College say it?....Fabulous, dahling! I love how the pink stands out against the black, and the font of the words are great. Also I love the little pink owl in the corner, it just adds a bit of humour to it all. As soon as you see this cover, you just know you’re going to have a hilarious time reading it!
Those of you who have read Louise Rennison’s other books before will know of one of Louise’s best-known characters, Georgia Nicholson. Surprisingly, Georgia appears briefly in this book too, as Tallulahs cousin! I think that’s a really nice touch, as it adds familiarity to the story.
My favourite character is Tallulah because she’s hilarious. Her random bursts of ‘Irish Dancing’ had me laughing out loud!
Overall, I’d say this is a book worth reading. It isn’t as good as some of Louise’s other books, but it’s still brilliant and I definitely recommend it. 4/5!

From when I recieved this book, I knew it was to be a good one. I have read most of the author’s previous series, and this one had a lot to live up to. This book was way better than I predicted, it was funny, creative and my kind of read. Tallulah (the main character) has a really good personality, actually she made me think of myself in some ways. A really witty and interesting book, I couldn’t put it down! 10/10

I couldn’t put the book down it was that addictive! My favourite character was Ruby because she was nice and she was a bit younger than Tallulah. Ruby had two owlets which she named Rube and Lullah. My least favourite character was Sean because he always stood at the back of the gang and never talked and looked all shy. Withering Tights is a great book and I recommend it. This book was so great that I couldn’t put it down.
