Claude on Holiday

Meet Claude! He is a small, plump dog who wears a beret and a lovely red jumper. But Claude is no ordinary dog – he leads an extraordinary life! When Mr and Mrs Shinyshoes set off for work one sunny day, Claude decides it’s time for a holiday! With his best friend, Sir Bobblysock – who is a slightly bobbly, grubby old sock – Claude heads off on his first trip to the seaside. Together, the pair build sandcastles, eat ice cream and sunbathe on the beach. It is all very normal… until Claude meets some swashbuckling pirates and discovers hidden treasure! A wonderfully funny story starring a quirky beret-clad hero, from a rising star of illustration, Alex T. Smith.

Praise for the Claude series:

“Watch out for this new kid on the children’s books block, you will be won over!”

“A treat for new readers.” Peters Gazette
