The Great Ice Cream Heist

“Those McIntyres are nothing but trouble!”

When the McIntyre family moves in next door, Eva is intrigued. It’s the first interesting thing to happen for ages! But her over-protective Dad – even more so since Eva’s mum died – doesn’t agree. And no one can deny that the McIntyres are noisy! All the same, Eva is curious about Jamie, whom she often sees on the roof of his garden shed, escaping the family chaos. And when Jamie is accused of vandalising the local park, Eva is sure he didn’t do it. It’s up to her to stick up for him – but then Jamie disappears. Suddenly Eva is caught up in race against time: a helter-skelter race involving a ‘borrowed’ ice cream van, lots of irate keep-fit fans and lashings of ice-cream!
