A Little Princess Pair
Sent to an English boarding school from her home in India, rich Sara Crewe becomes a show pupil – a “little princess”. But when her father dies and his wealth vanishes, Sara’s whole life is turned upside down. Transformed from princess to pauper, Sara is reduced to a life of poverty, forced to work hard, and live in a cold, damp attic. Now she has only her dreams to support her. Will they be enough? The spellbinding classic tale A Little Princess is now paired with a magical new sequel from Whitbread Award winner Hilary McKay. After Sara finally gets her longed-for happy ending, find out what more is in store for the friends she’s left behind!

I am reading a little princess and it is brilliant. I don’t have Wishing for Tomorrow, annoyingly, but it looks really good!

This book is really fantastic. It tells you of all the things that have happened before and after Sara Crew came along and went. Hilary Mckay usually writes about friendship and so this has been linked into this book. Basically, it is saying how Sara sort of forgets about Ermengarde and poor Ermie gets upset. If you see what I mean, Mckay has very cleverly added modern happenings to an old tale.
