A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Ersatz Elevator

There is nothing to be found in the pages of these books but misery and despair. You still have time to choose something else to read. But if you must know what unpleasantries befall the charming and clever Baudelaire children in their sixth appalling adventure, read on. With no end to their troubles in sight, Violet, Klaus and Sunny Baudelaire encounter a darkened staircase, a red herring, endangered friends, three mysterious initials, a liar with an evil scheme, a secret passageway, and some horrible parsley soda!

It’s a little strange how even though these books each have their unfortunate event they are really enjoyable, each page spent in anticipation of Violets inventions, Klaus’ knowledge and sunny’s Bites. this is the sixth in the series, beware pretty women and always take the stairs
