Blind Beauty

Once in a lifetime, a great racehorse is born, whose name will live on in eternity. Buffoon is that special horse. As a foal, he doesn’t look like a racer. He’s raw-boned, awkward and ugly. No one believes there’s any glorious future for him. But Tessa senses something special in him; a hunger for success as stubborn as her own. Together, the unloved horse and the wilful girl forge a bond that will take them further than anyone imagined. It is a friendship that endures through all the ups and downs of this epic story, told by a Carnegie Medal winner.
