Daisy and the Trouble with Sports Day

Shouty parents. Bitter rivals. Smashed eggs. Tears. Ugh, Daisy. Sigh. Where do we start? Sports Day. A celebration of joining in, fair play and teamwork. A national institution. Well… not any more. Daisy’s got no time for losing. (That’s for losers.) She’s going to win her race. She’s going for gold. Fair enough: she and her best friend Gabby have been training really hard. They’re sticking to a strict athlete’s diet of Mars bars, Twiglets and cheese strings. Thing is, everyone else wants to win too. And that’s how Daisy’s Sports Day trouble starts.
