Devon: The Naughtiest Dog in the World

Jon and his two perfectly-behaved, chilled-out Labradors have always enjoyed a peaceful life. But when Jon agrees to give a home to Devon, an abandoned little border collie, things will never be the same again! From the moment mischievous Devon explodes from his cage at the airport, Jon knows that that his naughty new friend is going to be big, big trouble. And over the course of the next year – and scrapes with geese, sheep, buses and meatballs – Jon discovers how much joy a pet can bring, and what a handful one little dog can be! This heartwarming true-life story of a mutt who lives for mischief offers an irresistible glimpse into a dog’s soul.

“Moving, funny … a loveable mutt of a book” Chicago Times

A brilliantly told true story about a little border collie who gets into all sorts of mischief. His new owner has the huge challenge of training him. One thing I disagree with, is that he’s not quite the naughtiest dog.

an excellent book for people who love dogs. jon katz gets a phone call to pick up this very nauhty called devon. the dog is very mischifous and an expert at escaping so when stanley has to be put down life is not the same.devon is trained by jon and end up still a little bit nauhty but relaxed like julius.
