Horrible Histories: The Awesome Egyptians

History with the nasty bits left in. Awful information about phabulous Pharoahs, mean mummies, revolting recipes for 3000 year old sweets, and more. History has never been so horrible!

Terry Deary has made a brilliant, educational set of books! They teach you all about how the people of the past live! I would recommend an age range of 8-12 for this book

  • I loved reading this book as I got so much knowledge from it, and didn’t get bored once. Plus, I was so engrossed in all the facts and funny pictures, I didn’t have time to really be scared of the plane journey I was on. :)

I really loved this book! I enjoyed reading it even though it took me over 2 hours. There are sad, scary and funny bits and most of all the facts were all horrible!!!
