I Am Number Four

John Smith is not your average teenager. He’s always moving from small town to town, always changing his name and identity. He doesn’t put down roots. He can’t tell anyone who or what he really is. Because if he stops moving, those who hunt him will find and kill him. But you can’t run forever. So when he stops in Paradise, Ohio, John decides to try and settle down. To fit in. And for the first time he makes some real friends; people he cares about – and who care about him. Never in John’s short life has there been space for friendship, or even love. But it’s just a matter of time before his secret is revealed. He was once one of nine. Three of them are dead. John is Number Four. He is next…

I totally loved this book. I don’t usually read books from a boy’s perspective but my friend recommended this book to me, i decided to read it and it was awesome. It is so much better than the movie. The movie doesn’t give this book any justice. I am currently reading the sequel to it and so far, it is good.

I recommend this book to science fiction and action books lovers.

  • This is a really good book. It is full of adventure and unlike other books you never know what’s going to happen next. It is a lot better than the movie and you should really read the book before you see the movie. Great read, i would recommend for ages 13+
