Inkspell
Although a year has passed, not a day goes by without Meggie thinking of the magical events of Inkheart, and the story whose characters strode out of the pages to change her life forever. But for Dustfinger, the fire-eater torn from his world of words, the need to return has become desperate. When he finds a corrupt storyteller with the magical ability to read him back, he sets in motion a dangerous reversal. It will see the characters of Inkheart transported to a charmed Inkworld: a volatile place threatened by rebels, rivals and danger.

An amazing book filled with imagination and adventure, the power all readers secretly think they have, to read things to life. It seems that all of Cornelia Funke’s books are just awesome. the second of a brilliant trilogy

I liked this sequel just as much as the first one! Cornelia Funke has this way of making her characters and fantasy world SO real. If you like fantasy, give these books a try!

This book is a joy reading. I am currently reading the book and I am on Chapter 50 and there are 77 chapters in all. This book will make you keep turning the pages. It is wonderful! I loved Inkheart and I love Inkspell! After I read Inkspell I’m ready to start Inkdeath!

And yet again, Cornelia Funke puts together a gripping story full of excitement, romance and mystery. I loved it! I definitely recommend you buy this book, but make sure you have read ‘Inkheart’ first because it is quite complicated. The brilliant idea of having a map at the front of the book of the ‘Inkworld’ is ingenious! (and very useful). 5* book, excellent sequel to the first.
