Just Henry

The Second World War is over, but Henry is still fighting to make peace with his past. He’s missing his father, who died a war hero, and only the cinema seems to offer relief. Then he finds a film with a mysterious man lurking in its shadows. Who is he? Like an exploding bomb, the answer will shatter Henry’s world. A gripping story with a lovingly-evoked historic backdrop from the acclaimed author of Goodnight Mister Tom.

  • Interesting and different. The main character, Henry may annoy you at the beginning but later on in the story you realise the reason for this infuriating persona. A good read!
