Kitty Slade: Divine Freaks

“Hey, I’m Kitty Slade. Just your average, normal girl, doing, you know, normal stuff. Got a brother (annoying), a sister (quite annoying) and a grandma (she’s awesome). Oh yeah, and one more thing. I can see dead people.”

Kitty is just a normal teenage girl – until the day that a ghost turns up in her biology class. All of a sudden, it seems that Kitty can see dead people. And what’s more, they want her to solve mysteries for them! From now on, she can only be sure of one thing: that life is about to get seriously freaky! How will this sassy teenager combine family life and school with having to solve the problems of troublesome ghosts? First in a hilarious series, this is a brilliant tale of school, spooks and spirits from the bestselling author of the Lulu Baker trilogy, which inspired the TV series Jinx.

“The charm of the story is that it combines a supernatural thriller with an irresistibly sassy, funny account of everyday life.” The Times

I loved this book. I read as one of my school things and thought it looked rubish… It was amazing though and I was gripped all the way through! It actually made me a tiny bit scared at some points! I am about to read the second one of three. I would recomend this book to ages 9+!
