My Name is Not Refugee
When this picture book starts, a little boy is about to go on a long journey. His mother is telling him what it’ll be like. They will leave their town, she explains, and it will be sad but also a little bit exciting. But they’ll have to say goodbye to friends and the people they love. That part will be hard. They’ll have to walk and walk and walk, and although they’ll see new and interesting things, it will often feel difficult too. They might end up in a new country, trying strange foods and hearing other languages. That’s how this boy’s story starts – but where will it end?
