The Accidental President

Elections always seem like a battle. The banners, the speeches, the rallies, the kissing of babies. They’re like a very polite war. So imagine Ajay’s surprise when, on a trip to the USA, he’s randomly sworn in as President. Well, I guess he can’t be any worse than that guy who had the job before him, right? Wrong. Having SO MUCH POWER (YAY!) quickly goes to Ajay’s head. Before you can say ‘uh-oh’, he’s off creating his own crazy manifesto. Ordering sparkly capes and enforcing his national spider plan is tons of fun! It’s too bad he’s not spotted the dastardly plot that’s hatching right under his nose…

  • Hilarious mid-length fiction from a best-loved series
  • A witty wish-fulfilment story with a delightful premise
  • Ajay’s funny struggles will strike a chord with any kid
  • By a gifted author, illustrator and political cartoonist
