The Nine Lives of Montezuma

Love Morpurgo’s animal stories? This mighty cat’s adventures will be your purrfect pleasure. Truly majestic storytelling about a king of cats: fiery Montezuma, who rules over them all. Named after an Aztec king, Montezuma is the emperor of the farmyard. Watch him grow from naughty kitten to a grand old tomcat: always regal, cunning and proud – a law unto himself. His nine lives are full of triumphs and dangers. And Michael Morpurgo captures every moment of them all.

This is a really fun tale of a cat called Montezuma. It’s quite confusing at the start but then you get the hang of it. Each chapter has it’s own cliffhanger because each chapter is Montezuma’s life.

This book is a tearful and a sad ending story. My best so far! It is good enough for a film.
