The Saga of Darren Shan #3: Tunnels of Blood

“I’m getting used to being a vampire’s assistant, but everyone needs a break. Since we left the Cirque Du Freak, the vampire is behaving weirdly. He’s out all night on some secret business and won’t tell me anything. And when they start finding the corpses, drained of blood, I can’t help fearing the worst…”

Suspicious of Mr Crepsley’s secretive behaviour, Darren and Evra shadow him across the city – and confront a creature who may be the end of them all. Has Darren made a fatal mistake which will cost the lives of those he cares for? And can he escape the terrible lure of the Tunnels of Blood?
