i didnt liked it that much because it sounded a bit sad and i was scared because i am scared of sad things.

Alfie is a loving deerhound who was my favourite character because he kept his promises.
I really like Charlie because he loves Alfie and never gives up looking for him, he is so loyal. This book made me smile because there are some funny bits but it also made me cry.
I think that 7-13 year olds would enjoy this book even though they might find it a bit easy to read. (My Mum loved it).

This book is about a boy who loses his dear hound,(dog),but before he loses him, he goes on holiday,so the dear hound has to go into a foster care home.So, they find him a foster home,but when the foster parents go to the park with him, he jumps over the gate and escapes. That is all i’m going to tell you, so if you want to find out what happens next… READ THE BOOK!!
