Wednesday 8th March is International Women’s Day – a day you might learn about with your teachers and parents, about how important it is to make sure everyone is treated in the same way, whether they’re a boy or a girl.
We’ve read loads of brilliant stories told by girls we love, so we thought we’d round up nine of our favourite girl characters in books – the kind of characters you can imagine being your best friend, or saving the day when you really need it!
