i really liked this book because it was a mix of funny, sad, drama and happiness. My favourite character in the book was beauty cooksen ( cookie) because she was harsh on herself but in a funny way.The characters i hated the most were beauty’s dad and beauty’s word enemy Skye.I didn’t like Skye because she was calling Beauty names like Ugly just because she was fat and also i didn’t like Skye because she always wants everything to be about her and she always finds a way to make it all about her.The reason why i dint like beaut’s dad is because he gave Beauty her silly name,he always shouted at her and beauty’s mum

Sad but funny at the same time

I have to admit, when I started reading it,I really thought it was going to be boring. My favorite bit was when beauty and her mum went to the seaside. But I also think she was a bit babyish to watch The rabbit hutch, seeing as she was older than me!!! It was a sad ending for Beauty, and a lovely ending for me!! ( seeing as she got to live on the seaside, without her horrible, bossy father!!!) but people like Skye bring you down! You are beautiful no matter what people say! I recommend this book 100%!

I loved this book. It talks about serious family problems and how to stand up to bullies like Skye. I only read it last Summer but I’ve already forgot the ending. I think the ending was happy – or was it a cliffhanger?

This book is one of my absolute favourite. its about a girl who’s called beauty and she’s kind of the total opposite she’s ugly!!!! she gets teased a lot about her looks by the mean girls Skye, Rhona and Arabella. Rhona’s not very mean though. the song I am beautiful relates to this book because it has a message saying no matter how you look you can always be beautiful:You are beautiful no matter what they say
Words can’t bring you down….oh no
You are beautiful in every single way
Yes, words can’t bring you down, oh, no
So don’t you bring me down today…
this version is nice because someone else is telling you that you’re beautiful….
I am beautiful no matter what they say.
Words can’t bring me down.
I am beautiful in every single way.
Yes, words can’t bring me down… Oh no.
So don’t you bring me down today.
this version is much better because if Beauty sings this song she’s tell herself that she’s beautiful no matter what people think or say behind her back!
